Size Guide
TI YA RA garments are cut with intention. Most pieces are designed to move with the body rather than constrain it. When in doubt, size up.
Natural fibres breathe and soften with wear. Linen and TENCEL™ will ease gently after the first few washes. Silk holds its structure. All measurements below are of the garment, not the body.
How to measure yourself
A soft tape measure is all you need.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. Do not pull it tight.
Waist
Measure around your natural waist: the narrowest point of your torso, usually an inch above the navel.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 20–23 cm below your natural waist.
Height
Stand straight against a wall in bare feet. Mark the highest point of your head and measure to the floor.

All measurements in centimetres. These are body measurements, not garment measurements.
Kimonos
All kimonos are offered in S/M (fits bust 82–94 cm) and M/L (fits bust 90–108 cm). The open-front silhouette allows generous movement across sizes. If you are between sizes, choose M/L for a more flowing drape.
Wraps and flowing silhouettes
Wrap-style pieces (skirts, pants with tie waist) adjust at the body. These fit sizes XS through XL comfortably. If you are above XL, please contact us before ordering; we may be able to accommodate a custom adjustment.
Natural fibres and fit
Linen softens and gains half a size of ease with washing. TENCEL™ retains its cut. Silk maintains its drape. If you prefer garments worn close, size down in linen. For ceremony wear where ease of movement matters, true to size or one up.

Ring sizing
Our rings are sized to international standard. To find your size: wrap a thin strip of paper around the finger you wish to wear the ring on. Mark where the paper overlaps. Measure the length in millimetres: this is your circumference. Match to the table below.
| Circumference (mm) | Diameter (mm) | EU / FR | UK | US |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 47 | 14.9 | 47 | H | 4 |
| 49 | 15.6 | 49 | I½ | 4¾ |
| 52 | 16.5 | 52 | K½ | 6 |
| 54 | 17.2 | 54 | M | 6¾ |
| 57 | 18.1 | 57 | N½ | 8 |
| 59 | 18.8 | 59 | P | 9 |
| 62 | 19.7 | 62 | R | 10 |
If you are between sizes, size up. Rings can be adjusted by a jeweller; going down is more complex than going up.
