The sanctuary sits in the heart of Ubud. It is designed to slow. The air holds something before you understand what it is: the particular quiet of a room kept slow on purpose, the scent of linen and natural dye, the weight of stillness that only accumulates over time.
Tea is poured here every day. The garments hang on open rails, unhurried. The ceiling holds the afternoon light differently in different seasons. Guests come for a kimono and stay for the tea. Others come for the tea and leave having touched the cloth. The two things are one here. They always were.
Yangsheng Cha Dao is the lineage of the house: the way of nourishing life through tea, held in the custodianship of Tiyana Ti through six years of daily practice, carried with the house wherever it stands. Here it sits in quiet conversation with the island's own understanding of harmony.
