Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Tiyara, we take great care in crafting each piece and ensuring it arrives to you in perfect condition. If for any reason your purchase is not suitable, we are here to assist you through the return or exchange process outlined below.
Return Eligibility
Items may be returned within the following timeframes:
- 7 days from purchase for in-store purchases
- 14 days from delivery for online purchases
Return or exchange requests must be submitted within this period. Requests made outside this timeframe cannot be accepted.
All returns are subject to inspection and approval by our team.
Product Variations
Tiyara garments are produced in small batches using natural fibres and organic materials.
Due to the artisanal nature of these fabrics and dyeing processes, each production run may result in slight variations in colour tone, texture, and finish.
Additionally, colours may appear differently on digital screens depending on device settings and lighting conditions.
For these reasons, minor differences in colour or texture between the product image and the final garment are normal and are not considered defects.
Conditions for Returns or Exchanges
To be eligible for return or exchange, items must:
- Be unused, unworn, and unwashed
- Be returned in their original condition
- Include all original tags, packaging, and accompanying documents
- Be returned within the required timeframe
Tiyara reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Pierced jewellery and earrings for hygiene reasons
- Custom made or personalised items
- Items marked Sale or Final Sale
- Promotional gifts or complimentary items
- Items showing signs of wear, washing, damage, or alteration
How to Start a Return or Exchange
To initiate a return or exchange request:

Please include:
- Your order number
- The item you wish to return or exchange
- A brief explanation of your request
- If the item is damaged or faulty, please provide clear photographic evidence of the issue.
- Once your request is approved, you will receive instructions for returning the item.
Return Authorisation
All returns must be approved by our customer care team before being sent back.
Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.
Exchange Policy
Tiyara offers exchanges for eligible items.
Exchange requests must meet the same return eligibility conditions outlined above.
Please note:
- Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to exchanges, including returning the original item and shipping the replacement item.
- Exchanges are processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.
- If the requested item is unavailable, you may choose:
- Store credit
- A different item
- A refund where applicable
Exchange processing typically takes 3–5 business days after inspection.
Refunds and Store Credit
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval of your return.
If approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days
- Alternatively, customers may choose store credit valued at 110 percent of the product price
Original shipping fees from the order are non refundable.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
Include:
- Your order number
- Photographs of the issue
If approved:
- Tiyara will cover the return shipping cost
- We will send a replacement item free of charge
If the item is no longer available, you may choose:
- A refund
- Store credit
- Waiting for restock
Damage After Delivery
Tiyara is not responsible for damage caused after delivery including:
• improper care
• washing or drying
• exposure to chemicals or perfumes
• normal wear and tear
We recommend following our care instructions to maintain the quality of your garment.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty.
- We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Tiyara cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Original shipping costs from the initial order are non refundable.
Return Condition Verification
All returned items are inspected upon arrival.
If a returned item shows signs of wear, damage, washing, or missing packaging, the return will be declined and the item will be shipped back to the customer.
In such cases, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the item.
Lost Returns
Tiyara is not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return shipping process. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method.
Refused Deliveries
If a delivery is refused by the customer and returned to Tiyara, any return shipping costs, customs charges, or handling fees incurred will be deducted from the customer’s refund or store credit.
Customs and Import Duties
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local fees depending on the destination country.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not controlled by Tiyara.
If a parcel is returned due to unpaid customs charges, the customer will be responsible for reshipping costs.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
By completing a purchase with Tiyara, the customer agrees to the terms outlined in this Returns and Exchanges Policy.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated without first contacting our customer service team and following the return process described above, Tiyara reserves the right to provide documentation of this policy, order confirmation, and delivery confirmation to the payment provider as evidence that the purchase was fulfilled in accordance with our policies.
