Orders ship within 3 to 5 working days. International delivery typically takes 7 to 14 working days, depending on your location and customs clearance. You will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched.

Yes. We ship to most countries. International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes levied by your country's customs authority. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping fees.

We begin processing orders quickly. If you need to make a change, please write to us immediately via the contact page with your order number. We will do our best to accommodate changes before dispatch, but we cannot guarantee this once the order has entered production or packing.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unworn, unaltered pieces in their original condition. Sale items and pieces made to order are final sale. To initiate a return, please use the contact form with your order number and reason. You will be responsible for return shipping costs.

If your piece arrives damaged or with a fault, we will arrange collection and replacement at no cost to you.

First, check your tracking number for updates. International packages occasionally experience customs delays, especially for destinations in Europe and North America. If your tracking shows no movement for more than 7 working days, please write to us and we will investigate with the courier.

Most pieces are cut with ceremonial ease in mind; they are designed to move with the body rather than structure it. If you are between sizes, we recommend going up. Kimonos and wraps are offered in S/M and M/L and accommodate a generous range within each size.

Size up. Natural fibres give the body room to breathe, and a slightly generous silhouette reads as more elegant than a tight one in ceremonial clothing. If you would like personal guidance, write to us with your measurements and which piece you are considering; we will tell you exactly what to choose.

For certain styles, yes. Our artisans in Ubud can accommodate modest adjustments for customers who fall outside our standard range. Please contact us before ordering to discuss whether this is possible for the piece you have in mind.

TI YA RA TEMPLE works chiefly in natural and plant-derived fibres: linen, TENCEL™ lyocell, silk and cotton. Some pieces use a little more, a touch of elastane in the socks for stretch, or viscose in a kimono for its drape. What we avoid is building garments from petroleum-based synthetics like polyester, acrylic and nylon. Every fabric is chosen for its feel, its weight, and how it sits against the skin in a tropical climate.

Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle or hand wash. Do not tumble dry. Lay flat or hang to dry in the shade. Iron on medium heat while still slightly damp if you prefer a crisp finish, or embrace the natural texture. Linen softens beautifully with each wash and gains body over time. This is a feature, not a flaw.

TENCEL™ is gentle to care for. Machine wash on a delicate cycle at 30°C or below. Do not wring. Tumble dry on low, or hang to dry. TENCEL™ wrinkles less than linen and holds its cut well across washes. It responds beautifully to a cool iron if needed.

Hand wash in cool water with a gentle, pH-neutral detergent. Do not wring or twist. Roll in a clean towel to remove excess water, then dry flat in the shade. Never tumble dry. Iron on the lowest setting with a cloth between the iron and the fabric. If you are unsure, we recommend professional dry cleaning for silk pieces.

Some of our pieces use natural dyes from plants and minerals traditional to Bali. Natural-dyed pieces may evolve slightly in colour with exposure to sunlight and washing. This is part of their nature. Full care guidance specific to each naturally dyed piece is included with your order.

The Tending Rite is TI YA RA TEMPLE's lifetime restoration promise. Every garment and adornment we make is covered, for as long as you own it, by free repair and restoration. If a seam releases, a button is lost, or a garment needs refreshing, we tend it. You cover shipping to us; we tend the rest.

Yes. Rings, bracelets, and other adornments purchased from TI YA RA are covered by the same promise. Stone settings, metal work, and cord replacements are all included. We may ask you to send the piece to us in Ubud, or in some cases we can advise a local jeweller who can tend it on our behalf.

The Temple is located in the heart of Ubud, Bali. The exact address is shared when you arrange a private visit, and walk-in visits are welcome daily. You can learn more about the space and what it holds on The Temple page.

Yes. The Temple is open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Walk-in visits are welcome. Tea is served. The garments hang on open rails. There is no sales pressure. Come and feel the cloth and sit with what it holds.
